Hybrid Bicycles - Beating on my hybrid

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
So, I normally ride on the road with a set of road slicks. Well, I got a wild hair you-know-where and decided to ride a trail. A close one for me is the Swamp Fox Passage. I put my cyclo-cross tires on and hit the trail. About 4.5 miles in, I ran across this:

Question is, is the trail impassible or is it just an obstacle? :)

Just go underneath it and continue riding, use your hybrid as much as you can.

I think to get past that you need to use your trials riding skills balancing along the right of track side beam then bunny hop onto the tree, bouncing on the rear wheel up the middle of the trunk as high as possible do a 360 degree spin then leap on to the opposite path. I honestly cant see another way around. ;)

If it was me I would strapped my chainsaw to the back of my Sawyer and take it out!http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o247/tae_666/PLURK%20EMOTICON/violent-smiley-014.gif

He is correct. It is the only practical way to continue from that point. :roflmao2: :innocent:
Yeah, I climbed over in cyclo-cross fashion and continued to test the ability of my tires to hold traction on the tree roots covered in the leaves and pine straw.
