Hi Ive just started bikeing in the last few months due to having my truck repo'd. Never realized before how much fun and how healthy and calming it could be. I've decided to make my bike my primary mode of transport from now on. I'm 44yrs old and hope to do some long distance touring come the spring. So hi and thanks for letting me hang around.

Thats a painful way to find the fun of cycling, but I went carless for about 7 yrs in the 80s, and saved a bundle. You have to arrange your life so you live close to your work and your play, and also with access to public transit. Commuting is no longer a waste of time but is quality recreation. Best of luck.
