I have been looking at frames and have seen some that I don't know about. There is a company called Leader, which claims to make frames for bike companies, but I don't know how good these are.
I have also encountered some fuji frames and the Giant OCR 1. The giant is a compact road frame which is 50cm but for riders who ride in the mid 50cm's.
does anyone have any knowledge on how these stack up against a cannondale or trek frame?

That is my bike I built from scratch, I picked leader simply due to price. I've had it for about 2.5 months now, and I would have to say it's nice. Although I have not put on that many miles on it, (maybe 500-1000?) I would say it is a nice frame to begin with, it is lightweight and seems solid. Basically no problems yet with the frame. Also leader is true to their word, when you buy a frame from them you basically are buying it oem, and they make most of their money building frames for other companies, although I'm not sure of what companies, but I have heard rumors that Kestrel is one of them.
one more side note is that if you do buy a leader frame, they have a lifetime warrenty (even though this is an aluminum frame) and a crash warrenty, basically they will replace it if you crash for half price, and if it is a defect they pay full.

I have a Giant TCR, 50 cm (medium), and love it, have had it close to 6 years and am thinking of replacing it with another TCR, compact frames suit my short legs and long torso. What you need to be careful about with Giant is that you fit the frame size, as there is only 3 sizes to choose from. The top tube length for the Med. is 55.5 cm, about the same as a 55 or 56 cm standard frame. If this suits then the Giant is an excellent frame (the OCR is basically the same as my old TCR) if not then choose something else. I know of other people that have bought a TCR and not been able to get comfortable on it. Remember ideally you stem should be between 100-120 mm.
