Hello all, I am a newbe trying to convert an old Healing road bike to a singlespeed/fixed. I am having a hard time figuring out what gear ratios will give me. To start I have a 52/20 But as of the moment this means little to me. I am reading like crazy but still kinda slow to understand. I will be riding on city streets in a town that is mostly flat. I don't have to bike up hills or anything. I am fit as I BMX race (don't understand gears for that either) but don't want to be killing my legs to get around. Thanks for the beginning insight!
