Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Anyone else running a VeloSolo cog?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
just got mine surprisingly fast (~1.5 wks) from the UK. Got it cos it's a cheaper gold cog than i could find elsewhere (i don't need an EAI Gold Medal, who does, really) and i really like the quality so far (nice threads, quiet, thick teeth), lightish, too. I would have bought from the US but i didn't see any US dealers.
It is Aluminum, but i can't see it wearing out fast as beefy as it is.

Give it a few months.
Anything gold will be alloy.
Anything alloy will suck.

I've got a velosolo but it's steel and it's a bolt on. Pretty sure I've posted a picture around these parts back when I was making a contribution.
i agree - fast shipping
Aluminum? Will you be riding that particular bike?
