*SOLD* I bought this for my sister but it ended up being too big so I am offering it up for sale. It is an interesting bike from the 70's I believe and has some cool details. Frame is heavy but I am sure it would ride like a dream. It is still a bit of a project as it need new cables and housing but I did take most of it apart and cleaned it up pretty well. The BB will need to be rebuilt as I did not take it apart but it spins nicely as is so I am sure there isn't any problems hiding in there. I did take apart and re-grease the headset and hubs. There are some neat details on the bike like the atala badged components ( crank, brakes, hubs, etc.) and the chrome fenders are sweet. THe frame measures 22" from center to top on the seat tube with the top of the seat post being 32.5" of the ground. Other interesting details are the chrome lugs, internal cable routing and the Simplex "stick shifter". Looking to get $75 + shipping from 46237. Pm for details or to get a shipping quote.

Price drop. Would also just sell the bike minus wheels if you wanted to save on shipping.

Man I really like that, still recovering from Christmas and two other bike buys though. I'll keep this in mind for the future now that it's tagged.

Sweet price for a chrome lugged Italian cruiser with all sorts of little fetish parts like the chain guard and whatnot

A match for the bike I built for my father. My mother's '73 Atala was a diamond frame orange affair, and my father's was grey. I got the grey one stolen being a knucklehead in the '90's and built up this one for Dad a few Christmases ago.

So, yeah I'll take it. I was going to ask if the wheels were alloy or not, but whatever, I kind of have to take it off your hands! (Even though you're probably shipping my other bike as I type this!)

:)

(edit: if it's still there.. :) )
