Here's a thread to show off what awesome footwear you've been riding in! Be it clipped or clipless, new or old and what works and what doesn't!

Do you bring an extra pair once you reached your destination? Or do you walk in what you ride? Recommend a pair! Write a review!

Let us all marvel at your intricate tastes in fixed gear-riding-footwear.

P.S. Please do not bash someone's choice of shoes, to each their own. Constructive criticisms are welcomed though.

These are my goto shoes for riding : http://www.taniobuwie.com/images/large/taniobuwi/Asics-Onitsuka-Tiger-Kanuchi-64_05_LRG.jpg

I like your shoes, I just recently modified a pair of my old Chucks to clipless using CrankBros cleats and pedals. Haven't done any actual riding/commute with them yet due to snow on the ground but they felt pretty solid when testing them out around the neighborhood. I'll try post a picture of them later when I'm not on my phone.

Sidi Zephyr shoes. Got them from Nashbar when they were on sale.

I can vouch for mavics; I snagged a pair when they were on a steal on bonktown/chainlove.

Or Adidas Sambas. Both are thin-soled, the Sambas are a little pointier and easier to get into clips.

Commuting is just some Shimano SPD's for comfort, but If I'm going to library/shops etc... it's these custom puppies.
Cannondale MTB hard soles inserted into a pair of old converse shoes for casual comfort.

I wear one of 3 pairs of Danner Rainforest work boots that I have. I wear them when I ride my motorcycle (street). I wear them to concerts. I wear them anywhere I have to walk a lot, and if I have to, I can kick the hell out of most anything. Very comfortable, very durable, and lots of ankle support. My wife thinks they look too clunky, but she's nuts.

mavic razors...i dont ride MTB but i really like the ability to walk around the hard rubber cleats give me. comes in handy for going into stores and walking from parking lot to gym for spin classes.
i definitely recommend these shoes. really comfy, nice and rigid, but totally walkable. plus they look kewlllllll

http://www.pedalconsumption.com/archives/2011/files/dzr_midnight_available_now_at_mission_workshop.jpg
DZR midnight...so most of my bikes have SPD pedals, and i like riding to work, but dont like having to cart other shoes with me if wearing the above mavics (although i have worn the mavics to work...i was behind a desk all day nobody was the wiser)...so these shoes look like nice casual shoes (i dont need to be dressy at work...graphic designer) but then they can have SPD cleats so yah me likey. i looked around at allot of different "street/casual shoes with SPD cleats" but i think these won in terms of looks. and they turn out to be really quality shoes. i recommend. reasonably comfy, yet reasonably good on the bike (nice stiff soles) only donwside is the white sole-sides (or whatever its called) gets dirty/scuffy. but thats the same with any white side-soled shoe...

and lastly...
http://brimages.bikeboardmedia.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/DZR-nero-spd-compatible-slipon-shoe-jetlag.jpg
dzr jetlag nero...JUST got these as a christmas gift...have not ridden in them yet, just wore them around the house and modeled in front of my wife (yes i walked around like on a catwalk and did some turns and poses, lips pouty)...these do look quite nice in my opinion, i like them allot looks-wise even if they wern't SPD shoes. im guessing the same stiff sole as the other DZRs i have. What i am super stoked on besides the looks of these is the extreme LAZINESS factor: i am not a morning person, and like ughhhh i have tie my shoes? goooood thats like soooooo annoying wheres my coffee. NOW I CAN JUST SHOVE MY FEET IN AND SLAP THE VELCRO STRAP ON AND IM GOOD TO GOOOOOO. funny how after 31 years of life my shoe securing has come full circle back to velcro. at least these shoes dont look like frogs. yah i had awesome frog velcro shoes when i was 5 or so. anywho i digress....will these velcro strap only shoes hold up to riding SPD? im guessing so...i mean look at holdstraps and the like...

so those are my shoes. omg shoes. lets get some shoes. these shoes and 300 dollars. these shoes are 300 ****ing dollars. lets get em.

I was (and I guess still am) way into sneakers thanks to my interest in basketball.

The Asics Keirins get the most wear for rides, I use GR-9's or Urban Platforms so it's cool, but I would probably hurt in something like Sylvan Tracks. I've never worn the Kursks for riding as they kind of dig into my achilles for just walking. The DZR's are recent pick-ups, I got the Concubines on a "don't care if I win/lose" bid on ebay, surprised to see I won. Probably give those to my bro.

That's pretty cool. If I had a pair of winter-only shoes I'd do the same. Do you really run your cleats that far forward though?
