Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Nekkid Single-Speed Road Bike Frame

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Don't listen to Nagrom, he cannot he even spell his girlie name forward.
Guys, I got this.
GT4 - welcome to the forum. I will be handling this request for you. Be advised that it usually takes a few days to get the parts ordered, the bike assembled, and photo studio set up. (The photos should be pretty quick because we are using a one-hour lab to do the developing these days; technology!)
It might be tough to find an appropriate team, this being the holidays and all, but usually the guys around here jump right on these requests. I will update the progress here and include any changes to the proposed schedule.
A few questions:
What color tires do you want?
Are you going to be rocking this whip fixie brakeless (I'll assume yes)
The rest of the team will be along with their questions soon.

I come from a road biking background and have many friends that ride track and roadie, so I already know most of the terms used on this forum. Colored tires are for hipsters imo. I'm getting rando rear and gatorskin front. Of course I'll run brakeless =D.

I like burritos with cheese and ketchup. I know, it's odd - but it's tomato-e.

I've ridden with a couple guys that have the road version of this frame (vertical dropouts) and they are satisfied. Not the lightest frame in the world but $100 is a good deal, according to them.
I'd be worried about toe over lap on the smaller sizes. I notice on the geometry chart the seat tube and headtube angles do not change as the frames get larger.

Neither of them know what worn chainrings look like, if you catch my drift.

Does bbattle's response seem like he's trolling? No. Some of us like to have fun with people who break certain taboo's, like coming in and throwing around a possibly perceived attitude in threads, though. These reactions happen in all hobbies and cultures, and subcultures and so forth. It's also the Internet. Sorry dude.
Also, it's a $100 nashbar bike. You say you've already read good reviews, yeah? There you go. Or adversely, you can go down to your nearest co-op or LBS and interact with real people instead of ordering your bike on the interwebs, because (and I hope you're sitting down for this next bit of news) people surprisingly used to do this all the time before online mailorder, etc. became a thing. You might even get properly fit and support a small business while you're at it - terrifying as that may be to some.
Just some friendly food for thought man, happy holidays :thumb:
Meet you there, ha?

Running rando rear and gatorskin front is more "hipster" than colored tires. The colored tires trend has now been reduced to only sparking interest in <15

Wait a sec - mr. Half clips himself got the boot?
Also, just shoveled three driveways and about to drown two chorizo and cheese burritos in sriracha. Eat a dick, winter storm Euclid! Might even make a sandwich. The Dave Scrod cookbook would be handy right now...

Yes. it is true. I was once named "TheElitePoop", but because of the many BS answers I got on my earlier threads, I figured it was my username that made (some) people so unhelpful (I mean REALLY, the guys at yahoo answers can be more helpful). So I changed my username to a more appropriate one in hopes of getting more helpful answers. People, I am not trolling, I just want to know more about track bikes. I know some of my questions are a little stupid or have already been answered; I feel as if the month and a half I have been on this forum (My first forum I've ever been on) has been long enough to know what everything is. I am seriously tempted to go to Velospace's forum.

It wasn't your username.
Wow. I didn't actually think people bought the colored brooks saddles. Kinda fugly in my opinion, but to each is own.
Definitely not your username. Are you like...15/16 years old?

I'm almost 16, but you would already know that if you stalked me on every thread I post/post on like nagrom. (I see his name EVERYTIME in the "Recent Visitors" box on my profile). Stop creeping on me nagrom.

He does that to me too. And not just here, on my other internets too.
FWIW, when I was 15 I hung out at bike shops and asked questions that got me laughed at. In person.
Hang in there.

You have 56 views, and your 10 most recent are listed. Chances are I'm there, because I looked around a little before calling you out as ElitePoop. Chances are i'm still there, because less than ten people have looked at your page since.
I also just checked it to see the number of views, so I'll be there for a while, champ.
And oh yeah, those guys that ragged on me were the same guys who would come back and get me when I fell off the pack. tear. sniffle.

Very astute observation.

Just chill out, search topics before posting (like this one), and try to refrain from name calling/stereotyping. You will get much more comprehensive answers to your questions this way.
Morgan was just creeping to creep.
Very astute observation.
Regarding what I said earlier, let me be clear - I'd drop you and leave you dropped. You got a mouth on you don't you.
Yeah but he's also the type of kid you just give the wrong time to for the group ride, don't even have to go as far as dropping him.
Yeah dude, meet us at 10, we'll be there!
