Anybody done this ride from Cairo to Chicago? I'm considering registering and wouldn't mind some reviews about the ride -accommodations, ride support, etc. I've done RAGBRAI, and RAIN, so it seems natural to do Illinois... Thanks in advance.

Back in April of this year, I asked a similar question about this ride. Someone was kind enough to point me to a blog a rider did back in 2009. I found it to be very informative. I was considering doing the ride, but due to financial problems, I had to put that idea on the back burner.
