Forum Suggestions & User Assistance - Reusing attachments in subsequent posts.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hi,
So if I post and attach an image, the image will be thumbnailed and linkable.
Is there a way to take that attachment and reuse it with the thumbnail in a different post? Currently you can link to the attachment but you can't (or I don't know how to) reuse the thumbnail.
Just trying to save server space by not uploading the same image twice.

I'm not sure, but I dont think so.
Anyway, is it that much of a deal uploading the same pic again? Its under 100kb, so unless your running a 5kbps modem, it shouldn't take that long.

Yeah, I'm not worried about the upload time, I'm just wanting to save server space for forums.

Open the picture in the big window. Grab the address in the address bar along the top of the window. Now in a new post use [ img ] and [ / img ] (remove the spaces) to post the pic. Put the url in between the two tags.
