So I took apart the fork on my road bike about 6 weeks ago and now I don't remember the correct order of the rings. See the photo below. I know that #5 goes into #4 on top of the fork to lock it into place. The rest, not sure where, be it on top of the fork crown or under spacers.. etc. I'm lost and any help is appreciated.
Just wanna get back on the road :)

2 goes down first, flip it do it sits on the bearings. 1 goes on top of that, I think. Is it split? I thinks the centering ring. 3 looks like a spacer or a seal. It might go between 2 and 1... Not sure.

Just put it all back together. It went 2, 1, 3, 4, spacers, 5. So far, so good.

cool! If things are spinning freely and not loose you are usually good to go with headsets - they have a way of telling you pretty quickly if you do it wrong.
