I'm thinking about touring this summer and riding across Maryland. What is the best source for obtaining maps that will show bike friendly roads? At this point I am thinking about riding my road bike which is a Trek Apex H2. I plan on traveling very light and lodging at this point might be hotels. If I want to go the camp route then I would switch bikes to the Gary Fisher Tassajara with non-knobby tires. Any assistance in where to look for maps would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Mike

Cyclebum, Thanks for the link. I have been here but was looking for a bit more detailed maps but these may be exactly what I need. Thanks again.

Those county maps look pretty detailed (and I've toured on a lot less). However, one place for additional detail is the state atlases published by Delorme, e.g. http://shop.delorme.com/OA_HTML/DELibeCCtdItemDetail.jsp?beginIndex=0&item=176&section=10096

I purchased a bunch of county maps from Kappa Map Group (https://www.kappamapgroup.com/). They are wonderful. A fellow touring friend recommended them to me and I like them a lot. It is not bike specific per say but it is very detailed.

On a side note, will be doing a tour of DE this year I hope. You are more then welcome to come with if you would like.
