Specialized S-Works M5 HT Disc, not 100% on the year, probably 2005/2006. Looking for bolt that attaches derailleur hanger to frame. Hanger is fine, bolt has disintegrated. Any suggestions?

Tried that, doesn't seem to fit.

A chainring bolt is an M8x1.0 and I expect that's way too big. I'd try an M5x.8 (water bottle cage bolt among many others) as a first quess and go up or down from there. These days hardware stores carry a wide variety of metric bolts and you should be able to find a replacement.

I've got the remains of the old bolt. Will try matching that. Thanks.

they also have a bolt that is like a mini chainring bolt. just go to a specialized dealer and get a new hanger
