You mean I could visit my son (Forestville), and race at the same time? Doh!

Hey.

I'll be there. For some of it anyway. I could meet you guys!

Whoa, that would be cool.

There might even be racing. I might even do it!

I'm currently planning on it, Sara... It looks like cycling starts June 2nd, right? But how many days is it? Any idea?

Looking at last year's results, I'm guessing both events are on the same day: TT and a short RR. Guess they don't want any of us to have a heart attack on the course. :-)

Ex, would the road race be a good 'rookie' race?

Absolutely. Small fields, very mellow vibe, lots of peer support.

AzT, it looks like one day at Lake Sonoma. That doesn't seem right, but that's what the website says.

That actually works for me, given I'll be visiting my son as well. In fact, I got him a canoe for Christmas, so maybe we'll be out on the lake after the races.

I did a lot of bass fishing in that lake. And jet skiing.

Are those the submarine races?

I think the course is too short and too flat to be interesting to me.

There's also one in the bay area. 5k and 10k TTs on Canada road in Woodside. http://www.bayareaseniorgames.org/sports-cycling
