So I have been in Istanbul for 3 months now, just hanging around really.

But I have decided to ride on to London. It will be cold, and wet.

Looking for route suggestions that avoid the real cold.

Head south? Greece, Italy France?

I'd want to see the Adriatic Coast, maybe get the ferry to the heal of Italy and then up through France.

Yes, you will get cold and wet in northern Europe between January and March (maybe even in April...)

You have been in Istanbul for three months already... Are you sure you don't want to wait a few additional months?

I thoroughly enjoyed Turkey, and Istanbul was not nearly my favourite place. Maybe cycle around Turkey for the winter?

Or wend your way south to Kuşadası, take a boat to a Greek Island, and hang out there until the worst of the winter has passed.

glad to see you are alright. Have checked in once in a while on cg but no news from way back, so wondered if you ever did get into Iran or not. Guess not.
3 months, thats a long time. All the best with rest of trip, albeit with the weather issues.
