Its something that google, is trying out, im not sure but i think it may become public, sooner or later.


I also have 50 invite (sheesh i have no clue how it went from 4 - 50 :eek: ) drop me a PM

Yeah, it's still in beta testing, so they don't want to over load their servers. Doing invites only gives them control of the load on their system.

i have 50 as well.. seems they must be ready to let gmail go public if they are giving everyone 50 invites

so between the 3 of us, we could sponsor free gmail for most of the active BF users :D

Or you can set up a second (or third) account for yourself and get another 50 (or more) and theoretically have enough to sponsor the world. (shucks, got two accounts with 50 each, if I could only think of 100 good email names I could bump my invites up to 5000).

I heard hotmail and yahoo have been blocking invites, although that's probably just unfounded rumour found on slashdot.

I had 50 yesterday, so I quickly sent them all to myself for the links, now I have 50 more.

No one cares if their highly sought after or whatnot... but we do have invites and some still dont have gmail (or looking at some of the replies, have even heard of it :) so we're offering them.

Evidently they're somewhat useful. I'm still getting requests :P
