I'm looking for the triangular wheel guides that were used on Shimano 600 EX brake calipers from the late 70's and early 80's (other makes/models may work?) Any leads appreciated... cheers

in the photo below, they are mounted behind the brake pads and hang below...

Check with your LBS, if you have built a good repoire, they will dig through their bins for you.

Do you have any pics? Looking a Velobase they seem to have both wire or flat steel/alloy guides

I'll have to look I may have some alloy type but I am not sureif I have all four, or what brakes they went to.

shown below is the shimano 600 ex brake caliper (short reach)... the guides are attached behind the brake pad and hang below... the originals were alloy, but I have seen replacements in steel... (since like mine, the alloy tend to fatigue and break...) I'll take whatever I can find, preferably the alloy... I only need one at the moment, but will take as many as I can find... also of note... the little rubber grip wheels on the top of the adjusters are equally hard to find (if yer poking about...)
