I kind of like the paint the way it is, it's only original once

I made the light housing myself, it's machined out of aircraft aluminum, the red lens is a glass aircraft position light lens,
I used a flashlight reflector and a six volt LED, it had gotten bumped in the picture, but I made it so it shines up at an angle,
towards drivers. I used phonelic plastic and rivets to hold the rear cover on, just like what was frequently used in lighting in the 70's

I wanted everything to look like it was made in the 70's, so I used bare electrical connectors with a knurled nut, just like what would have been on a generator.
I couldnt find a knurled nut, so I made one. The insulator is also phonelic plastic. the wire runs inside of a cable housing.

I made two of these frame clamps to run the cable housing holding the wire.

Star headlamp that was on the bike when I got it, it's been rebuilt internally with a 6 volt LED, the chrome was far too gone to save, so I painted it black.
There is an aluminum piece with a set screw inside that holds the cable housing with the wire,
the cable housing simply goes into the back of the light, it's very clean looking

I'm hoping to find a Brooks saddle soon, and I have a few other minor things to do, I used Atom 440 pedals, restored Weinmann wheels, and a Suntour freewheel, I cant think of the specs right now, it says something when a bike is so trashed the pedals are destroyed. I have my nice Italian toe clips, which fit great with the Atom pedals, but I need to order some straps before I can install them
