Classic & Vintage - French language cycling sites, and a fun photograph somewhat C&V related

While searching for a cycling related French language web site so I can start to learn some French I came across this picture that I thought some might enjoy.

And if anyone has a favorite French language cycling site or discussion forum then feel free to let me know. I'm thinking it might benefit me to read something I'm interested in while trying to learn the language. I know that there are one or two people in this C&V section who either live in France or visit there regularly.

And sorry if this is off topic for some in this section.

That picture's good for a smile. It implies that those young guys are having trouble keeping up with the old guy. And it is possible. I've had much older guys blow me away on the road. Some folks ride hard all their lives. Nothing can stop them.

I can't bring my self to look at it, because every time I do it makes my bikes look awful in comparison. There are pages and pages of bikes, and the bikes are not just found, the restoration work is really well done, with great care. Usually each bike has a jersey, bottle and a magazine cover to go with it.

I need to start working on my French for PBP... speaking of which, are Velocio's articles online anywhere? My Google searching only turns up references to the articles, and usually the excerpts with the rules.

Not a site, but Louis Malle's early 60s documentary 'Vive Le Tour!' is next on my Netflix queue. (DVD not streaming) I think it's on youtube too, at least part of it, but I can't stand the image quality there, not if something better is available. It's about an hour and should be a good one for the trainer!

This is the French equivalent of the C&V forum. You'll be amazed how many ways there are to ask "is this a PX10??" in French.

It not about "vintage bikes" but has to do with cycling... If I can help translating some french turn of phrases, feel free to ask !

Happened to us all the time on training rides when I lived in NL. About the point we were limping home after 150km of hammering each other into the hills, those old, cigar-chomping b@$t@rds would suddenly swarm in and humiliate us.
They even do it to the Dutch pros.
