Im just running standard pedals with straps on my bike and picked up some Shimano Shoes so that I could have a stiff sole. Im not using any kid of clipless or clipped pedal so I want to cover the two elongated SPD holes on the bottom of the sole so that water and grime dont come in. I already put the metal plate on the inside that has the four threaded holes but is there anything to screw on the outside of the sole to seal it up?

A screw.

Too easy.

Each hole is about an inch long so a screw wont cover it over completely. Please try again.

You're already doing something in a half-assed way by using those shoes without cleats.

Google Shimano cleat covers.

I found those shortly after I found out I needed a cleat. When I think of a cleat I think of the bottom of a soccer shoe so forgive me if I dont know the terminology. I think its time to go find another forum. Too many pompous know it all ******** on here that dont think their **** stinks. In the future I would suggest helping the newbies instead of talking down to them with smart ass remarks in order to fulfill your ego for the day. Good day pricks.

1. It happens to everyone here. Happened to me pretty hard in my first thread, and I'm still alive.
2. Do a tiny bit of research before buying something, and then a little more about your specific question before asking here
3. Its the ****ing internet. Grow a thicker ****ing skin and don't whine like a ***** when you don't get what you want in 30 seconds.

This one time, I decided to read at least one sentence of information about a product before buying it.
