Fifty Plus (50+) - Different demographics, same post, compare

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

My apologies for double posting my saga about eating dirt a few weeks ago. But I wanted to see the difference in the two demographics with the same post. Since there is a link to the other post in this over fifty forum, you can take a look too. I think this is why we have an over-fifty area set aside, because our experiences and our ways of looking at things are different than the younger folks. Any thoughts?

A&S, particularly the long running and long argued helmet thread, can be a little contentious at times. Still some nuggets of wisdom there if you sift through enough of the dirt. I usually don't post anything argumentative there and don't post in the helmet thread at all. Heck, I'm a new rider and I wear a helmet because I expect to hit the ground and my brain barely works now, don't need to injure any.
