Wow! What a great movie! I've loved his music for years. I kept forgetting that it was Jamie Fox on the screen and not Ray Charles! Outstanding movie. Highly recommended. Now to watch the extended version no the DVD. :)

I really liked it, too...so much so that I watched it twice. If I had not had to return it to the video store today, I would have watched it one more time!

Jamie Fox did an outstanding job!

The acting was incredible. The woman who played Ray's angry back-up singer/girlfriend was scary...her anger and rage was VERY convincing.

But, the film itself was difficult to enjoy. Ray Charles had some tough breaks in life, and then he seemed determined to make life even harder for himself, his wife, his friends...some scenes were very hard to watch.
