New Cross Frame

Hey guys,

I posted these pics elsewhere, but I can't figure out how to link posts. This is my new custom Habanero Ti Cross frame. It is really nice, and has exceeded my expectations. Anyone looking for a good quality Ti frame should consider one of these bad boys.

Looks nice. The welds on the dropouts are even and smooth and the bends in the stays are even. Should be a killer ride!

Just getting used to the drop bars. I'm liking it though, feels very efficient and comfortable. I'll need to develop a little more flexability, then I can really take advantage of them.

Can't wait to try it in the dirt. I'm a little aprehensive-coming from a MTB point of view, it seems like there is a pretty serious forward weight bais. Think I can ride some singletrack on it? Should be fun trying anyway:)

You can definitely ride single track on it. Just avoid the rock gardens and logs.

One of the first things I did on my Lemond Poprad was take it out on the snowy single track, with some nearly bald Ritchey cross tires. It was great fun. Rode streets to the dirt, then rode the dirt, did some mild 6" drops off rail-road ties, zoomed around, didn't even crash. 32mm tires handle pretty well, even when they are mostly bald, on snow.
Just like a mountain bike, you want to keep the weight off the front wheel in certain situations.

I think there is too much snow right now, but I'm looking forward to busting it out. I can't wait to smoke some MTB'ers on the trails, humilliation at it's best.
