Does anyone know of any good companies that do supported rides across America?

I found http://www.abbike.com/, but the ride I want to do starts too soon.

I'd like to get this done in about a month, averaging over 100 miles a day. I'd even do a charity ride if I could find one that didn't take two months.

Anyone have any ideas? I guess I'm not really into "touring." I don't like carrying a bunch of junk and I like to keep the pace pretty fast.

A friend is doing the abbike Fast Ride Across America. Sounds like a good ride and well-supported. I would think that a later ride (this one starts end of April - Irivne California to Boston in 31 days of riding plus one rest day and 3400 miles) could get hot and less pleasant across the deserts and midwest.

That ride is perfect (maybe a little expensive), but I don't get out of school until the first week of May. Damn....

For a fast supported trip check out Pac Tour at www.pactour.com I rode with them in '91 and it was a great ride - well supported and run by cyclists who know what they're doing. This years trip is 25 days in September - San Diego to Charleston, Va averaging 120 miles/day
