Well, since we're talking about music that isn't bad but the average idiot would be too embarassed to admit to listen to: Tom Jones. That's right.
The man can sing. Did you hear/see the PBS/Martin Scorsese blues series? Tom Jones and Jeff Beck performed "Smokestack Lightnin'". If Mr. Jones does a blues CD, I'm buying.

A little late on the thread but here goes:
Marilyn Manson, especially Mechanical Animals
Kylie Minogue
Gwen Stefani
Old Goth music like Oneroid Psychosis and Mors Syphilitica

I would say Bjork but I have no qualms about liking Bjork, at least up to 2001.

I like what I like, don't make excuses; F#$% anyone who thinks it's lame, or that I am.

Scorpions, Heart, Twisted Sister; Celtic instrumentals, Loreena McKennitt, Native American flutes. Tom Jones, Elvis, Johnny Cash; Spinners, Stylistics, O'Jays; *****cat Dolls, Black-Eyed Peas, Destiny's Child. I even liked Thriller.

I have collections of classic R&B, old-school Hip-Hop, and Funk. Have picks here & there from Queen, Beyonce, the Temptations, Bill Withers, Prince, and others.

Bad Company.

I don't get it. They had some good songs and Paul Rodgers had one of the great rock singing voices.
