My five year old Rock-Shox fork has finally broken down. Because I'm on a tight budget, I've been considering RST forks. After looking at the reviews at mountain bike reviews.com, I wanted to see how everybody here thinks of RST Mozo. In mountain bike reviews.com, they say its reliable and offers a plush ride. I would be very happy if more people would give me input on how they think of this fork...Thanks.

I just purchased my bike (Haro Escape 8.0) with Mozo suspension forks ...
I still have yet to get the bike from order ....

There are 16 versions of the RST Mozo fork. They ramge from a entry level fork which I would not give to my worst enemy, or a very sweet race level fork. So depending on the model it is you can go from crap to very nice. The material make up and internals change with each level. Their top end recreation and entry level to pro race level are very good. Very durable dependable and rugged. I would try to stay away from elastomer spring internals but that is just MHO.

I highly recommend the MOZO XMO fork. This is an honest sub-3 lb fork that has great lateral stiffness (no auto-steering). It uses an air spring and air damping via EKO air cartidges. Infinite, easy adjustability are the name of the game. I have owned all of the major high end forks. The Marzocchi was by far the plushest but came at a weight penalty. The Mozo folks are selling a very nice fork in the XMO. Buy it, try it, yoiu won't be disappointed.
