Does TIME use the same cleats for each member of the ATAC family? I know they use the same cleat between their ATAC Carbon and the cheap ATACs but I'm considering buying a used ATAC Titanium (the red cover one) and would need to be able to use the same cleat between my MTBs.

You're talking about the older model A.T.A.C's, and not the ATAC XE's correct?

If so, then YES they are the same cleat. My ex-bro-in-law had the titaniums and we had the identical cleats.

Yup, the older ones...

So far, I've got 2 Mtbs on the old ATACs and 1 commuter road bike. Thinking of another bike and want to put another ATAC (old style) on it, found a person selling a used one here..

The older ATAC pedals look supper minimalistic, do they make them any more?

They all use the same cleat. I'm running both with the same cleat.

I believe that TIME did change the cleat sometime near 2000. All will still work with all A.T.A.C. style pedals but I think they widened the actual middle part which hooks onto the bars. My old ~1995 ATACs seem to be a lot easier to release than the cleats that I got when I bought a ATAC Alium in 2002. Upon comparing the two cleats, I noticed my 1995 ones a lot skinnier in the middle part. Therefore I think it's easier to release. And since I mostly use that to commute/tour, I prefer the easier release system so I found a person here selling a used Ti ATAC with the old style cleats which I'm going to buy.
