BikeForums is great! But, it is also a bit overwhelming. Is there a way to subscribe to just a few forums? Or, could I get a filtered "View New Posts" search that only searched my 5 or 6 favorite forums?

I know I can just go to them one at a time and see what's new. But, I do like the "View New Posts" list ... except that it is often tremendously long and includes alot that I don't look at.

Thanks for a great site!

So far, there isn't an option to block out any of the other forums. You'll have to use nature's blocker- it's called "tunnel vision". ;)

You could bookmark the forums you like in your favorites. Instead of navigating using the outline at the top of each page, you could navigate using your favoites list. But that's a lot of work jsut to avoid having your eyes scan over that insipid BMX forum.

I agree, but I have now subscribed to 9 threads, so when an important post comes along I know where to go. I'm the same, I only visit Mountain biking, mechanics general and some of the foo type ones. I've stopped safety cause personally I think it is full of sh** with all accidents and stuff. It would help if you could select what sub-forums to visit though...
