Reggie is calling it quits:

That sucks. He's been in the league for 18 years. I'm 22, so he is all I remember. The guy is a hero in Indiana. So many clutch 3's....
I wish he'd stick around for one more year, but that's just me being selfish. I really think we could win it all next year when Artest comes back.
On a positive note, I scored tickets to his last regular season home game!
For those of you who don't care, here's a picture of Lance and Reggie:
As a lifelong C's fan... Good!

Wow, I guess I stopped following the NBA back when the CAVS stopped being contender (Price, Daugherty, Nance, Elho, Hotrod, etc). I did not even know Reggie was still playing, amazing.
I've been trying to get into the whole "King James" thing but it just does not click. Speaking of which, I get to go to a CAVS basketball clinic on the training court at Gund arena today (with some kids in foster care). Perhaps meeting the players will get me more interested, I used to love watching, but after so many years of heartbreak I gave up.

Jordan ruined your guys' chance back in the day, too. Funny thing, though....I just can't bring myself to hate Jordan like I hated the Knicks, Shaq/Kobe, and now the Pistons.
You should really try to jump on the LeBron bandwagon. He's the real deal, and he actually seems like a good kid. Give him a couple of years and when the Spurs fall apart (Duncan doesn't seem to happy with Manu becoming more of a star) the Cavs will probably win a championship. The Cavs just need a few good role players to complement LeBron. They could really use a good shooter.
As for the Pacers, last year we had a great shot. We would have had a great shot this year, but Artest ruined it again. I hope he comes back next year with a controlled chip on his shoulder. It sucks that we couldn't win one for Uncle Reg.
Back in the day when Reggie was at UCLA, the crowd at Harmon Gym would chant "Cherrrrrryl! Cherrrrryl!" whenever he'd touch the ball.
Then he'd torch Cal for 30 or so.
