Brooklyn Machine Works Saddle, Avid Wavy 8"rotor and adapter. Just forgot brake line, going to go get that now.
8 on a rear! Are you trying to balance out your weight distribution?

more upgrades Eh? Looking good though! Why did you choose to get an avid on the back instead of a hydrolic brake?

I'm only running one brake, and for street I'd rather have an avid mech.

Rear brake only? Damn, how's downhilling with that?
It's a jump bike not a DH

Man, so many parts, so little time. Are you sponsored Kona or do you have to pay for all these from your pocket?

Im only running a rear brake on my DMR, and i can tell ya, it doesnt feel brilliant after doing a 40 mile XC ride with two brakes then going and doing street with one brake...

I don't know if I could deal with having just one brake.. it'd be kinda odd after having two brakes on every bike I've owned since I can remember.

Yes I have more than one bike, I just like my hardtail more and the other rides are retired, as in cracks unsafe dents in the frames.

You get used to it. And really for urban and djing there isn't 'much' of a need.

Yeah... I guess you're not going all THAT fast, so one brake would probably suffice. I'd just end up grabbing for the front brake and it not being there. :p

I'm in the habit of using my rear brake to stop when I dont need to stop quickly (a.k.a., most of the time.)
I don't think it'd be too bad, but I'd sure miss the front brake on descents.

Stoppies are really overrated in my book.

The one Romaniuk pulled in the Collective got written up as rather stylie in mine...
Is it because they're too easy or because they're gratuitous show-offing?

Too easy.
Matter as well, include another picture.

"Cept for the fact that Kona actually has the Avid Polygon rotor.
