Need to build a new wheel so I'm looking for a mid/high flange front hub which is or can be adapted for quick release?
I could get a Phil FSA hub, is there anyone else that makes something similar?
Or I could get a track hub and swap the axle, anyone know which hubs you can do this easily on?
Been looking for something 2nd hand but haven't found owt.
--- For those thing WTF, QR on a track bike? ---
I have a New York Noose lock, which has done me proud so far. For quick stops I can just lock the front wheel and frame. For longer stops I can whip the front off and chain the rear, frame and front all together or just take the front with me.
Learnt my lesson along time ago that bolt on hubs offer little protection against anyone with a 15mm wrench. So while my rear is bolt on, I've just got used to qr front and the noose.
