Just wondering if any of you guys out there have any experience with the giant expedition it looks like quite a sweet bike for what im planning but wondered if anyone had any experience of it.

Dont think its available in the US so european tourists this is for you.

Looks a nice bike, the local bike shop had one in a while back. The idea of fitting rear and front racks to a disk braked full suspension mountain bike is certainly different! I'd have concerns about the reliability/need for maintenance on a full-susser if you're taking it far from well equipped bike shops but it should give you a comfortable ride. The stock tyres are the same as I use on my commuter and are very good and the Deore/LX/XT mix should be fine.

What sort of riding are you planning on?
