arboc!

no, its long enough where it can go, 720 to the left and 360 to the right

oh, I see what happens... when you turn the bars around, the bar ends up actually looping under the brake cable somehow? I'm not up on the whole urban/DJ scene as you can tell. :p

since the front is routed through the steerer, it remains unchanged after turning, but the back brake.

heh, neat way of routing the cable. Ive never seen in person cable routed through the steerer tube

Grab a gyro off the '05 P1's. ;)

I'd worry about it getting caught on the tire as the fork compresses, will it?

It won't.

Is it an actual gyro kit or is it some clever way of rigging it through the steerer? I haven't seen much for gyro's on mtb's yet.

Looks like it's just rigged through the steerer to me.

Gyro's on mtb's are relatively new, won't be running one, the line through the steerer works much better in my opinion, all you have to spend on that is $1-$2 at a hardware store.

well they sell kits that include a hollw bolt, top cap, and a new star flanged nut.
Ps. it does just go though the steerer, no smoke or mirrors.

All you guys missed the stem cos you're XC riders and you look for 100-120 mm stems :D

My only comment is that your levers seem to be almost straight down.

I like to keep mine in line with my arms so my wrists don't bend when I'm riding.

I know it's all preference, but heck, you've really got to rotate your wrists to stop.

Its called being used lol, i like the 'used look' on bikes, think it shows that its been used and doesnt just sit there looking pretty :)

Yes, it is recommended that if you keep your levers straight in line with your arms, it is in the best position. If you have them too high or too low you can seriously damage your wrists.

i ride in a normal stance, but when i dj, i like the levers out of the way. I can reach them with no problem though

Well ok, personal preference.

Another trick is to keep your levers loose but not so loose that they move when you're riding, but loose enough so that you can move them by hand. When you stack, they just spin on the bar instead of snapping. More important if you have hydros (the levers cost more and bleeding etc.) but it has saved me many times.

Are they running a gyro this year? Interesting. Previously they did the above setup. Next thing it will be 24" with pegs on the non drive side....

Since I prefer hydros I would still go through the top :)
