Yup! All three of us were on single speeds, but he was the only one on 29s. The Surly rider is also running a rigid fork. Of course, you can see what his leg/knee looked like after the ride in the last pic. :)

We get plenty of snow - believe me. However, there are many evergreens in the area that we rode, and there was only about 2-5 inches of snow on the ground. It really made for an amazingly beautiful ride. The most difficult part was stopping to snap the pix! :)
