I have a Trek 6700 mountain bike with shimano 505 clipless and a Lemond road bike. I am wondering if there is a shoe that can be used for both so I can save some dough. If so, which shoe?

Any SPD shoe can be used for both.... I musta missed something in your question. It's the cleat & pedal that matters, not the shoes.... As long as they match, you could wear flip-flops for that matter.

like he said...as long as both pedals are use the same cleat, and that cleat will fit the shoe....then you're good :-D I will be running crank bro stuff on both my bikes.
