Girl does a header. (http://www.compfused.com/directlink/639/) This is an unfortunate accident. What do you think happened?

LOL I think you should turn the sound up when watching this. The narrator says (in english) that her foot got caught in the front spokes and the front wheel locked up.

Looks like she was trying to do a sprint and her feet messed up and got caught in the front wheel. Then a spectacular face plant.

- - I examined that video several times and I did not see her foot go into the spokes. In fact, it is HARD to maneuver my own foot into the spokes of the front wheel. It looks like she either hit some unseen obstruction or somehow jammed on the front brake.
Anyway, what got my attention was her wildly gyrating, hair-flying, inefficient cycling form.

She was in a bike lane, wasn't she. See, ***** happens when you ride in bike lanes! Much better to do full-gainers out in the car lane where real bikers bike--you know, right in front of buses, trucks, cars.

That sort of looks like what happens when your chain snaps and you give a pedal at full force to me.

I thought she lost balance and her hands came off the handlebar as of a result of her constant head movement. It goes to show you that bikes are not toys and they are not to be played that way.

- - Your point is so well made that I have taken it upon myself to reiterated it here.

Watch her right foot carefully, it gets jammed in the wheel and spectacular endo. Download the wmv and slow playback.
