Just rebuilt a 1936 E.F.Russ(London England) double gents racing tandem.Never ridden a tandem before and for that matter my wife had never ridden a bike before.Talk about a couple of newbeys!We did manage to stay up-right. I'm hooked,tandeming is just plan fun.---sam

I took several photos today with the ditigal and they all came out very dark.Or at least the bike looked dark.I repainted it a very dark matalic green/over black primer,in the British "all weather"style of blackout chrome--so it's a bit hard to shoot.Will use the regular film camera and try and capture the details.I built it up using a 3speed block,twin wire cyclo derailer,on 26"rims.The russ was built using the best lugs avalible---chater lea.Also Chater lea headset BBs and droplots.I used williams cranks and rings. It was built using reynolds high manganese tubing. I'll try again on the photos soom---sam
