People that read my posts know I often talk about products I get through Chuck's Bikes (http://www.chucksbikes.com/) including my newly built road tandem.
He just posted 4 different models of 145mm wheelsets at amazing prices (3 road, 1 MTB)! I've ordered a set of the cheaper Dyad's (to match my disc setup) for a backup wheelset to my Hugi TD / Mavic A719 set. Always nice to have a spare set available in a pinch.
$295 - Velocity Dyad rims, Shimano Tandem hub set. 48 spokes front and rear, 700c, 145mm rear spacing.
$250 - Velocity Deep V 26 x 1.75 rim, Velocity tandem hubs with IS disc brake mounts, 145mm rear hub spacing, 40 spokes front and rear.
$230 - Velocity Dyad rim, Velocity tandem hubs with IS disc brake mounts, 40 hole front and rear, 145mm rear hub spacing, 700c.
$265 - Velocity Fusion rims, 40 spokes front and rear, Velocity tandem hubs with IS. disc brake mounts. 700c, 145mm rear hub spacing. Made for teams under 310lb.
