Classic & Vintage - 1982 Schwinn Model?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
A few days ago I bought an older Schwinn road bike. The head badge is Schwinn Chicago, with a four digit serial no. that dates it to 1982. The seat tube has a Schwinn Chicago sticker, an xtralite sticker, and an AISI 1020 tubing sticker. The bike is silver and has a Schwinn decal with orange letters outlined in white, but no model name decal. Anyone have any idea what model it might be?
After a quick look through the '82 catalog, the only ones I see that would match your description are the World Sport and the Sprint. I don't think the Sprint was included in the "Xtralite" series though, so I would bet it's the former. The Sprint also doesnt have lugs at the tubing joints, so if your frame is lugged it must be the World Sport.
Frame is lugged, so World Sport it is. Thanks for the info!
