Road Cycling - new shoes and pedals

up graded andadded to my road bike collection Ive been riding a 2120 and just got a 5200 also upgraded to sidi genius shoes and look pedals and cletes. HJaving only used spd's up till now the improvement is quite noticable.

I bought a pair of Sidi Genius 3 a little over
a month ago, and they are a major improvement
over the Shimano shoes I was wearing.
I have a fairly wide foot and was surprized that
the italian last fit.
Good luck with them and the new bike.
Are you going to be doing any extended tours?

For myself I'm using Specialized Body Geometry Road Shoes with Look PP247 road pedals for my racer. These are actually my first pair of road shoes and clipless pedals, after using toe straps which did not bother me at all, I finally decided to make the switch to clipless and I will never look back. Only just remember quickly to take your feet out before you stop, otherwise you will end up on your bottom.

yes, i hear ya on that. these are my second pair of Sidie.s first time with the Look set up. I can really feel the differance i seem to have mroe power could be my imiganation .

for touring though ILL have to rely on mountian shoes i can walk and hike in with recessed spd cletes.

dont know what or where or when but a tour is in my blood. i might ride out to yellowstone and back or just keep going till i get to where i am headed it will be" catfish on a bike part 3" thought i couold get away in june but now have a new project to complete first. looking at mid july thanks for asking
