Who's using the Crank Bros Candy pedals with a multi-sport-type cycling shoe? I just installed the cleats on my shimano shoes and had some major contact between the pedals and the soles of my shoes, so I put the supplied shim in. Still a little too much contact, so I used the Dremel tool to make some room.
My question is, do I leave it as is, with the shims? Or would it be more comfortable/stable to take the shims out and just grind down the sole a little more? I'll test it to see what I like, but I was just curious if there were any opinions either way out here.
