Hi everybody,

I am planning to buy a hardtail MTB and I haven't decided between these two bikes. I would really apreciate any information or experience given for anyone in this forum. If possible, tell me the pros and contras of each one. I have seen the information in their web pages, but I want opinions from the people who like me are impartial and what is more important, have first hand information after riding both.

I really like the Avalanche 1.0, with the disks, and I saw the new one yesterday. One thing I must say about that is the fork is good, with 100mm. And for the price they were selling at RRP AU$699 with disks great value :D

Correction GT Avalanche 2.0. I would have gotten that bike if they didn't have the Giant Yukon. The price is good, the only thing i don't like about it is the frame.
