hi i'm looking for a hat made of some kind of breathable material for winter cycling. i actually have a black cotton riding hat that all the cool dudes wear (although im not one of them) but ive seen this style with the short downward-angled brim in a different material made for winter cold. i think it might be microfiber of some sort? can someone help me locate one of these online? thanks!!!

This is the hat I've been using:

It fits well under a helmet. To this point, I've worn it down to 8F, with a -2F wind chill.

Do you mean something like the balaclavas, headbands, and toques at the bottom of this page:

I wear this balaclava in temps from 15-35F. I never really need a hat because the helmet serves to keep the head warm. The balaclava covers other areas of the head.

A balaclava here, too, but only if it gets -10C or colder. Warmer than that, it's just earflaps for me. And if it's very cold or windy, I wear both the balaclava and earflaps.

I use a Mountain Hardwear headband or balaclava depending on the temperature. I got the at Galyans (now Dick's Sportsweare, or something like that).
