I'm looking to get a full head cover to help keep sweat out of my eyes when I ride. I know there is a type that is made out of what looks like spandex, or some other kind of moisture wicking material. But I do not remember what they are called. I know they tie or fasten in the back. Can someone please tell me what they are called and possibly where I can fond one?
Are you referring to skullcaps

or bandanas?
Nashbar calls them "headsweats".
You can buy them at most bike shops or online.

IMO the best ones come from Headsweats (http://www.headsweats.com). They're sold direct, or through retailers like Nashbar. I like the Coolmax ones.

I was talking about skullcaps. Thanks guys.
Thanks for the thread -- this sounds like something I should try. How well do these things work under helmets? I need to keep sweat out of my eyes and the sun off my Celtic face, neck, and bald spot.
The skull caps work ok, but, I prefer a headband that does double duty on the tennis court.
One nice thing about skull caps is they are available in nice gang colors for when you feel like a pimp daddy :D

They do actually work in keeping the sweat out or your eyes. Be prepared to take a teasing. Some people wouldn't be caught dead with one and others like them. Your choice.
I think this whole thing started with Marco Pantani. Of course he shaved his head at the time and probably needed to protect his baldness from the sun. I also heard that when you are totally bald since there isn't any hair to absorb the sweat then it it a river of it down your face. Makes sense.
BTW I think Marco has let his hair grow (it's black - hey he's Italian). Saw a photo a few days ago in regards to the Giro d'Italia race.

You might also see them under "doo-rag".
