I'm going to be in Chicago for the beginning of next week. Does anyone have some recomendations for bikes shops / galleries / bars / etc. to visit while in town. I am staying in the River North area, but plan to visit some friends downtown, and troll around a little. I can't bring the track bike(s), but wouldn't mind running into a few track / fixed riders. Feel free to drop me a line.

The Art Institute Museum is free on Tuesdays.

InnJoy on Division street is a nice bar/restuarant and it's not too far from where you're staying.

Hit Wicker Park is you want to see lots of hipsters on track bikes.

I think I'll be visiting Chicago in mid-March. Maybe I can't afford to fly to Cancun for spring break (boo-hoo?), but I can least catch a Greyhound through the midwest. Hopefully some of you will be around to ride!
