anyone know what K.L. is doing these days. Kevin used to be a domestique climber for Armstrong...before he switched to Telekom and rode for Ullrich before retiring at a young age. Lance said that K.L. simply fell out of love with the sport. K.L. is from St. Louis. I am just wondering what he is doing these days away from cycling. It seemed he had so much talent and retired before fully realizing his limits...kinda like Johnathan Vaughters?

Here's a link for you. The most recent event posted on his calendar was a Cycling Seminar in Pittsburgh less than a month ago.

He lives in my neighborhood and I see him every once in while at the pool. He does some coaching and I looked into it a couple of months ago. I ended up going with another guy because he coaches several of my team mates.

Thanks for the feedback. Can't imagine why he would retire so young. he seemed like he had so much talent and potential. I wonder if he ever regrets leaving Lance and U.S. Postal? It seems that Things didn't go so well for him once he left Postal. As they say...the grass isn't always greener on the other side. I have heard that Lance never forgives. he's as loyal to you as anyone will ever be...but he never forgives. So maybe Kevin wasn't wanted back at U.S Postal?
