When I ride, I can almost tell you the temp based on my eyes watering and, at least lately, by how much I get the sniffles (perhaps partly caused by the watering eyes draining into the nose).
It is really annoying. I wear regular glasses, but the wind really gets in there. I thought about contact lenses, but the cost is a problem plus one person told me if my eyes water a lot, they could actually be a problem. I was thinking that wearing the contacts would allow me to more easily wear biking glasses that may be designed to cut down the air anyway.
But, regardless, the money is more than I want to spend.
I don't recall having this much trouble last year with the sniffles though and once it gets to the point where I need to blow my nose, I have to do it a lot and doing so doesn't last more than a few minutes. Digging tissues out is inconvenient too.
Anybody else have this problem or suggestions?
