Today I decided to clean my chain and removed it.
It's the first time I do this.
May be it's nothing, but since I don't know what the marks are, I ask you... what are those?
I noticed them after cleaning the chain.
They are in every link, and are either on one side or the other (they are not on the middle, nor in both sides).

This chain has about 150 miles. It is a SRAM PC-58.

Thank you,
Leonardo

ok, random guess, but if they are on every link and they don't line up, maybe they are part of the manufacturing process? The marks would line up if they were wear from use. I don't have them on my chain though, so I'm curious what others will say.

Manufacturing maybe? Looks like all links on one side or the other maybe from the forming of the part.

Shorty is yours the same model of chain?

Leoh, don't worry, this is normal, and is apparent on new chains. Two Sram PC68 chains that I bought recently show exactly these marks on the rollers.

Cheers,

Ed
