I am looking at purchasing a Sony Cybershot DSC-P150. The problem I am running into is that I would like a 512mb memory stick. There seems to be two options, a high speed and a pro. The high speed is quite a bit more expensive. Does anyone know the big difference? From what I have read, my general understanding is that one records memory faster than the other. With my simple shots here and there I am thinking i don't need the expensive one, just the standard. Can anyone help with this? Thanks in advance.

No big deal, just pick the one that works with your shooting style.
If you're doing more posed/still life/landscape stuff, go slow -
If you'll be doing more action shots, shooting "from the hip", get the faster one.
The best option would be to try both types before buying,
if you have a good LCS, that would let you "test drive".
I have an older CyberShot - I just got it for the Carl Zeiss lens.

Thanks for the help. I will have to check around at a couple camera shops to see if I can test some memory sticks out.

Does the memory stick speed impact how fast you can take multiple pictures? If so, how much at each resolution. Personally, it's not the issue of how long between pictures that is an issue with me, it's how long after I push the button until it takes a picture, and I don't think memory speed has bearing on that.
