Today I took it easy and did a 15 mile round trip out to Key Biscayne which pretty much cut my normal ride out there in half. I did both sides of the Rickenbaker Causeway which is a pretty decent climb (for FL). On my way down the on the way back, I got my Blu Boo up to 41 mph! Fastest yet.
I've been riding with my brother Mike (AKA Mikew305) which has been cool. Hopefully he will be able to join me for a small tour out to West Central Florida some time next week.
On our way back we rode through a few swarms of knats. You don't get much warning with these things, they are practically invisable until they hit ya and stick to you like flys on fly paper.
Tonight I am going up to my dads in Coral Springs for a visit. I might be meeting up with Erich Kuball who just got back from his tour of the Americas.

Peace

Dave

Are those the infamous "love bugs" they have in FL? I've been there several times and heard of them. You see a lot of cars with screens on the grills down there.

Actually, when I think of love bugs, I think of these larger bugs that are black with a tiny bit of orange. I think they call them lovebugs b/c you always see them flying around end to end. But, yea, there are tons of bugs down here. I am getting eaten up by mosquitoes in my own house. I'm just glad we don't have fleas.
